1. Build a Rock-Solid Public Image

Building an image you can be proud of, and that is solid and sticks, is an important part of marketing to high value customers. If you appear to be a high-quality person, you’re naturally going to attract higher quality people into your circle of influence. This doesn’t normally happen by accident. It happens with purposeful work toward that goal.

Your brand is how people think of you when they see your image, your website, or something you wrote, or when they just think about you. The thing is, you’re the one who needs to define your brand, so that you can do the work it takes to ensure that your audience sees you in the way that you want them to. Do you want to be the person who gets results or the low-price person? It’s up to you.

It’s tempting to try to be someone else sometimes, especially when you realize that being anonymous isn’t an option. You may find that you’re comparing yourself to other professionals that you know. It can be intimidating, but if you focus on being who you are and working with your ideal clients, it will become easier.

It’s very important to understand very clearly what you do for your customers. Remember that what you do is the value you offer, not the product you sell or the service you provide. What you do is the results you deliver. Get that into your mind so that no matter the circumstances, you can explain what you do to anyone at any time.

You don’t have to blog every single day or create new content every single day either. Create valuable and useful content and share it more than once. 8. Become the Go-To Expert

Focus everything on one specific niche service or product, for a very targeted audience. When you do this, you’ll become the go-to expert. Even if you offer other products and services, narrow down and focus on what you want to be known as.
